Trump wages secret court battle to block January 6 info

Sources exclusively tell CNN that former President Trump’s attorneys are fighting a secret court battle to block a federal grand jury from gathering information about his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. Former White House adviser and lawyer Eric Herschmann was subpoenaed by the grand jury but his testimony was postponed after Trump’s lawyers asked a judge to recognize the former President’s privilege claims and the right to confidentiality.
