Clinical Conversations: US Antibiotic Awareness Week: Pharmacist’s Role in Diagnostic Excellence

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently released its Core Elements of Hospital Diagnostic Excellence. Given the significant implications of diagnostic stewardship on the use of antimicrobials, US Antibiotic Awareness Week is an excellent opportunity to begin to unpack this topic.
