Therapeutic Thursdays: Status Epilepticus Management in the Emergency Department

Status epilepticus is a true medical emergency that can lead to severe morbidity and mortality despite appropriate therapy.  Rapid and aggressive treatment along with identifying any underlying causes are paramount to successful management and are cornerstones of ED management.  This podcast will discuss strategies for the management of status epilepticus and pitfalls in the care of these patients.   The information presented during the podcast reflects solely the opinions of the presenter.
