Brock McGillis on the Culture of Hockey and Hockey Media

Canadian hockey player Brock McGillis played both OHL and professional hockey . Brock played professionally in both the United States and Europe . While all of that alone is a great Canadian story, you probably know Brock McGillis as he was the first professional hockey player to openly come out as gay. Since leaving the game, Brock has become an influential advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. Amidst the Dan Carcillo junior hockey class action lawsuit on the issue of hazing, Brock has been vocal on the issue of the culture of hockey.
