With the Corona shutting down almost everything around us in some way or another, it's worth noting that time itself doesn't stand still, and while games may not be playing things like our age and birthdays continue to occur. For many, the dream of playing junior, college or professional hockey has been a goal their entire lives with this coming June being the penultimate time of their lives. This season was going to be their time to shine to grow into and demonstrate their abilities for coaches, scouts, mangers and more to pick them in order to further that goal. That is all up in the air right now as the pandemic continues to wreak havoc on our lives.Ian Pulver is a Toronto based hockey agent who has a notable and large stable of clients in various stages of their careers and he has a unique lens into what is happening in the market right now. He speaks to parents, players, coaches and more on a daily basis trying to help them navigate and cope during exceptionally trying times. Ian discusses the impact and potential outcome of this pandemic on the game and the players.Additionally, having been Bob Goodenow's right hand for over 15 years at the NHLPA Ian brings a unique perspective to the current issues surrounding the game and the reported request by the owners for additional giveback to the memorandum of understanding that was executed only four months ago.
