On this weeks episodes I am so happy to be introducing to you one of BodyMatters very own client care specialists and very special guest Julie- Ann Yap also known as Julzhealth. Julz is currently completing a Bachelor of Science majoring in Nutrition and Psychology Science at The University of Sydney. Where Julz endeavours to study her Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics to become a registered Dietitian. Julz also has an instagram page posting up recovery content, food recipes and encouraging messages around wellbeing! On this weeks episode Julz explores some very special parts of her life and culture especially around how disordered eating behaviours really had an influence on her life growing up.  Unpacking the ways in which disordered thoughts and behaviours can really impact our mental wellbeing, culture, social health and quality of life.  This is where Julez is now very passionate about inspiring people to want to build healthier relationships with food and exercise. One that is more personalised, meaningful and satisfying. To not only meet the basic needs of nutrition but to thrive in a life that aspires to live through a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. One that works from a non- restrictive framework to encompass the many different spheres and lifestyle factors influencing peoples life. While also aiming too where possible increase the flexibility we have around food in all areas of life to be more open to all the opportunities and experiences that life has to offer.
