Together we are spotlighting the LGBTQ+ community within acrobaticgymnastics in honor of #PrideMonth, in an #advocative effort to remind the USA Gymnastics #organization and acrobaticgymnastics community that the #Pride of the LGBTQ+ #community should be at the forefront of their #athlete-centric efforts every day. A new rule clarification that any pair group at any #competitive level does not need to be characteristically male or female in its artistry and skills2. A new rule clarification that states mixed pairs will be allowed to alternate top and base positions at any competitive level. In an effort to be #inclusive to LGBTQIA athletes now and in the future as well as dismantling #gender #stereotypes and #discrimination in our #sport.*Please consider starting a petition on behalf of the LGBTQ+ community on Change.org to facilitate this amendment.
