In The Rain - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Wed. 7-31-24 #1312

While doing some quick shopping yesterday, I got a little wet.  But you know what? It was all good.  I saw a quote that I connected with this. It reminded us “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass..it’s about learning to dance in the rain.” - Vivian Green.  I had a smile on my face in the rain in the parking lot. It was kind of fun as I put the groceries into the back of my car.  I got in and started thinking about that smile on my face and I was smiling even more knowing that I wasn’t ticked off about getting wet - like many times it’s happened before.  Got me thinking about being a kid and playing soccer in the rain.  Little adjustment in perspective for me and I know I need to keep having that different perspective in the “storms” of life.
