When I ran across this from the book: “Coach Wooden's Greatest Secret: The Power of a Lot of Little Things Done Well”, by Pat Williams with Jim Denney. It’s all about building healthy habits.  Find a link for the book HERE. (you can find it in many different places)  It starts off by reminding us that the best way to replace a bad habit is to replace it with a good habit.  These  eight parts remind us that it’s tough to try and simply get rid of a bad habit by willpower alone.  What I’m sharing with you starting today is all about principles to keep in mind as we replace unhealthy habits with good habits.  The first is to focus on little things.  Instead of making huge changes in our lives, find small manageable tasks to focus on that lead us to the changes we want. I have always looked ahead a bit too much to the ending that I want. Then it becomes difficult, challenging and frustrating because my focus is not on the first step I need to take, but what’s at the finish line. The more I read these, the more fired up I got.
