Punctuality - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Wed. 5-7-25 #1554

I saw this post that I shared with some students I’m working with, mainly because it made me think about how I needed this reminder too.  Also, I keep telling students, the earlier they grasp onto some of these lessons, they will have so many opportunities come their way that many adults never, ever see. This came from Mindful Maven (@mindfulmaven_) where it was shared -”Punctuality is not about being on time, it’s basically about respecting your own commitments.”  Sure being on time is important, but what’s even more important is us to see that it is directly connected to how we see ourselves as being worthy of the effort. The things & people that we need to connect with, those take time.  If I value who I am, where I want to go, what I want to build my life to be, who I want to add value to, etc., I will make sure I will be “on time” for those things. For many of those things, it’s a simple matter of “I’ll actually do those things”. I will follow up with myself because I promised myself (and others) that I’d do something. I need to think of myself with such value that I’ll find a way to see that it’s really something we need to & get to, DO… for our own goals and dreams.
