Reflections - Student questions & A Classic Movie - Podcast #81

Looking back - it's something we can't do too often as there is the fact that we cannot live in the past. But - we can look back to remember things, to remember people and the lessons we learned that helped get us to where we are today. Well, from starting a new school term - I've been able to reflect a little bit as students have asked me questions as part of my get to know them campaign that I start out every new class with. And while answering some of these questions , I had on the movie "A League Of Their Own" - the baseball move about women playing baseball during WWII. Talk about a tear-jerker in a couple of parts along with tons of smiles and laughs.... which is what life is all about... that movie always gets me thinking about my past and how I got to where I am today. Reflecting back and remembering where you came from is something that I think we should never forget. Our past is our best mentor - the value of those lessons that we can always draw back on - those are all so very valuable.
