I took some time last night to watch a special on ESPN - a 30 for 30 documentary on Stuart Scott. Find some more info HERE. It really got me thinking about things. It was emotional, reflective, powerful and to me, it directly connected to a post today from Mark Hickie (@MPHickie). The post reminded us that “small steps do matter”. Mark reminds us to “Live our truth boldly, stand in your honesty, and remember - your happiness begins the moment you stop shrinking who you are to fit who others want you to be.” All of us need the reminder that we can be who we are. But in order for that to happen, we need to continue to work on ourselves to be our best, to chase after what we’ve been called to do and to keep being difference-makers for others as well.
