The legendary Hall of Fame Coach Bob Hurley, St. Anthony’s (NJ), joins Coach Brendan Suhr on the latest Coaching U Podcast to talk about investing in your players on & off the court, keys to influencing players, coaching kids in the 21st century, how he continues to learn & much much more!! Coach Hurley has amassed 27 state championships and more than 1000 wins in 39 years as a coach. Hurley is just the tenth coach in high school history to win 1000 games, with five of his teams having gone undefeated. In 2010 he was the third high school coach in history to be formally inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Hurley is the father of Bobby Hurley, a former All-American point guard at Duke and the head basketball coach at Arizona State, and Dan Hurley, who coaches at the University of Rhode Island.
