THE UKPNW@40 PODCAST EPISODE 1 - 9/4/76, THE SEX PISTOLS

Bill Z of the Comic Book Bears Podcast has launched a new podcast - THE UKPNW@40 PODCAST! UKPNW stands for United Kingdom Punk and New Wave and the intention of this podcast is to serve as a look and listen back at the amazing music that came out of England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland during the period from 1976 to 1979. What Bill will be doing with this podcast, as close as practicality allows, is to celebrate UK punk and new wave record releases, radio and TV appearances, key concerts and other events on their respective 40th anniversaries. Bill fills us in on some of his background and what to expect in the coming months on the podcast.  This first episode examines The Sex Pistols and their debut TV appearance on September 4, 1976.
