Renu Thomas - From a Huge TV Career to Redefining the Quality of Aging

You will be amazed by BOTH of Renu Thomas' careers. And we will all need a Renu in our lives in the years to come, if we're lucky.With a masters in engineering, Renu  has taken a few incredible and unexpected paths.She is the former Executive Vice President of Media Operations, Engineering, and Information Technology at Disney/ABC Television Group. She established herself as one of the most prominent women technologists in television broadcasting.Now, she and her husband have started Thoro Care,  a social impact company helping to redefine the quality of aging by organizing, overseeing and providing support to seniors living independently in their homes. Thoro Care is a localized consolidated resource to help families navigate the complexities of non-medical services needed to age in place.And to top it off, she is involved in alumni activities including the Operations Research & Information Engineering Advisory Board and the President’s Council of Cornell Women. Super.
