College football picks, best bets: Bowl Locks Pt. I (12/24)

Picks and previews for all of the bowl games Dec. 24-29. First, a discussion about the flawed ways we determine whether a hire is good or not in relation to Bryan Harsin's hire at Auburn (1:30). Then we get into the LOCKS, first breaking down the New Mexico Bowl with Hawaii taking on a Houston team that could be short on players (8:05) and the Camelia Bowl meeting of Buffalo and Marshall after both teams lost in their conference championship games (14:30). Saturday's action is next Coastal Carolina and Liberty taking headline status in the Cure Bowl (20:30) early and Louisiana-UTSA and Western Kentucky-Georgia State (25:30) following in the afternoon.
