A member of the State Bars of Nevada and California, as well as the American Bar Association, Garrett attended Colorado College and the University of California at Berkeley where he received a B.S. in Business Administration in 1975. In 1978, he graduated with a J.D. from University of California's Hastings College of Law in San Francisco. Beyond his desire to educate people and business in wealth protection and growth, Garrett serves on the boards of the American Baseball Foundation, located in Birmingham, Alabama and the Nevada-based Sierra Kids Foundation.
