#43 “If I just follow the rules, will I be okay?”

Society needs laws, systems and structures in order to function effectively. In this podcast we take a look at artificial intelligence (AI) – where machines simulate human intelligence, (intelligence being defined as “the ability to benefit from past experience, act purposefully, solve problems, and adapt to new situations”) by using rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions. Computers can now create – but is what they “create” really art ? There is a “human element” that is also necessary when it comes to the application of rules within society. We need to find the balance between laws, formulas, systems etc. and humanity. We also take a look at the Hindu concepts of Karma, Dharma, Reincarnation and Moksha and how these ideas can relate to our lives as addicts.
