Walid moved to Dubai on 2006 where he played a major role in growing the company presence in the GCC and in the UAE in specific. He managed to lead teams as well in Turkey, Switzerland. Always interested in technology, he created a specialized cybersecurity platform, and organized more than 20 events on the topic together with regulators in the region. On 2014, he created a team to follow all the updates in the blockchain and Crypto space, this lead him to establish Unlock Blockchain on 2018.
