He was the leader of the liberal party which is the centre-right party in Australia and his reputation was one largely of inauthenticity in desperation to be seen as just a normal, regular Australian. Sean’s book was really fascinating for more than just the portrait of Morrison that it paints, but also for reflections on various modern parts of Australia’s culture. It is bloody interesting. Sean Kelly is an Australian journalist and a regular contributor to The Monthly.
