28 May 2021

Description

Adele Diamond is professor of development cognitive neuroscience at the University of British Columbia in Canada. She is a world leader in her field, researching how executive functions, that is our ability to pay attention, problem solve reason collaborate, and be mentally flexible or affected by biological environmental factors especially in young people. Her findings about the brain challenge common educational assumptions illustrating through scientific evidence the importance of play, sport and music. She is a member of the world society of Canada, has been one of the 200 astounding women of the twentieth century and as listed as one of the fifteenth most influential neuroscientists in the world today. https://montessori-apprendreautrement.com/podcast/
