Mother wound healing.  Erin was abandoned in every possible way.  From as far back as she can remember.  By a mother who was cold and manipulative.  She was neglected, unloved, controlled.  She was never seen or heard.  She was treated like a piece of trash.  By her own mother.  Erin says "I wanted to believe that I belonged.  That somebody could love me or that I was worthy of being loved. And my mother made it so confusing for me because what was worthy of love one day, it wasn't the next.
