He is a passionate Bitcoiner, student of Austrian Economics, and advocate for sound money. Before Swan, John spent nearly 13 years at Goldman Sachs in the Asset Management Division in New York City. His time at Goldman Sachs included institutional sales and fixed income portfolio management, where he oversaw portfolios that ranged in size from hundreds of millions to tens of billions of dollars.
