Some thirteen years ago Claire Van Vuuren (Bloodwood) rolled the dice and aimed to raise the level of dining in Sydney’s Newtown. Already in love with its array of accessible global eateries, she wanted to create a local in her own neighborhood that changed the perception of ‘local’.
