Ep 94: Life Lessons I've Learned in 2021

1. The friendships we built through the years matter, especially when sadness, trials, and challenges hit you. 2. The greatest freedom we can have as human beings are free from the lure of more that the world offers. Financial freedom is not having more but living a simple life. 3. Toxic culture abounds, but it is our responsibility to not let toxic culture enter our life. We can choose to live toxic-free lives. 4. A squid game aha moment. With corruption and injustice all around us, I kept asking how evil people get to sleep peacefully then it dawned on me. The world can offer you everything you want- and once you have what you want materially – it can make you numb. It takes away your humanity, and we see people as numbers. We forget the names, and we treat people like pawns we can control. It made me pray – “Lord made me feel the brokenness of the world and the simple joys of life.” listen to the whole episode!
