Jisel Parra had a rocky start with diabetes – as a teen her type 1 was initially misdiagnosed and she struggled with support and mental health. But she found ways to find community and gradually started to thrive with T1D. These days, Jisel runs A Tad Too Sweet, which makes trendy medical bracelets.
