"The Marvelous Mrs Maisel" actor Austin Basis manages T1D on (and off) the set

Actor Austin Basis has a juicy role in this final season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel; he plays Alvin, the head writer on the show within the show. Basis was diagnosed with type 1 at age nine back in the 1980s. It was a time before home blood glucose meters, let alone pumps and CGMs. He shares how he manages T1D during auditions and on the set and of course we talk about Mrs. Maisel!
