Amy Plano, The Reimbursement Dietitian, RD, MS, CDE, CDN, is a successful private practice dietitian passionate about helping dietitians create a profitable nutrition private practice using an insured-based model. Together with her husband, Marc Plano, she runs, The Plano Program, a health and wellness-based center in Orange, CT.  Through both her one-one and group-based coaching programs, online resources, and seminars, she teaches dietitians exactly how to use health insurance to make serious money in their nutrition practices. Her love of teaching does not stop with dietitians. In addition, she works as a Professor at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT where she teaches nutrition courses for the Health Sciences department. Even though she is one busy chick, it is fair to say Amy loves her hectic life but would not have it any other way.  When she is not busy growing her private practice or teaching, you can likely find her in the kitchen cooking up some delicious Italian food for friends and family, crushing it at Crossfit Milford or traveling the world with her incredible, smoking hot husband. “I think what dietitians have to understand is that there's so many layers to this whole licensure issue that it's never cut and dry.
