Depression and Chronic Pain with Dr. Zachary Fisk, MD, MBA and Dr. Christina Julian, MD

24 May 2021

Description

Dr. Cara English, DBH speaks with Dr. Zachary Fisk, MD, MBA and Dr. Christina Julian, MD of Acute Pain Therapies & Ketamine Clinic on the impact the pandemic has had on people with pre-existing depression, the increase of patients coming to their offices seeking new treatments for clinical depression, and how they are combatting the correlation between depression and chronic pain without the use of opioids. Acute Pain Therapies & Ketamine Clinic has two locations in Bellevue, WA. Their mission is to prevent opiate addiction that could otherwise occur in the absence of alternative means of controlling pain outside of the hospital. They aim to improve movement through non-opiate pain relief and tissue restoration in their patients. Their scope of services includes depression, acute surgical pain, chronic joint pain, chronic pain management, traumatic pain, and nerve pain and crps/rsd treatment.
