Studies show that a father's involvement is linked to better outcomes on a child's well-being. From cognitive development, education achievement, self-esteem and pro-social behavior.  Culture & Society seems to place little importance on the role of fathers however, it's vital to not discount the significance of their role whether they're in the home or outside of the home. Even though there are many different family structures, a father's influence is critical. Their parenting style balances the style of the mother's which results in the child having the tools necessary to be happier kids and responsible adults.
