06 Jul 2020

Description

Well Ladies and Gentlemen...We made it. After 217 days, F1 has graced our screens once again with the opening race of the 2020 season under our belts. Needless to say that it answered many questions, but still left us with plenty to ponder for the rest of the season ahead. And what a race it was, Mercedes dominated but had to manage potential gear box troubles that could hamper them this season. Red Bull with a double retirement where neither Albon or Verstappen were at fault, and Ferrari were massively disappointing and slow. Yet somehow Leclerc managed a 2nd place finish despite the odds.Lets not forget the small matter of Lando Norris getting his first ever F1 podium after a dramatic final lap.We review the race and discuss the main talking points from the race 'including the Hamilton Albon incident'. We also discuss what went on at Ferrari regarding the surprising revelations regarding the truth behind the Ferrari Vettel contract saga. And we sign off with a preview of the 2nd Austrian Grand Prix this weekend. As always, thank you all for your support.
