The Colorado Avalanche push the Edmonton Oilers to the brink of elimination in a wacky game three. Connor McDavid started off the game hot by scoring on the first shot of the game and the game did not slow down after that. The Avalanche were able to tie it up before the first period ended thanks to some good fortune on a bounce off Darnell Nurse. The game just kept getting weirder with crazy bounces and multiple plays that only happen once in a blue moon. The Avalanche are now looking forward to game four as they try to close out the series and move on to the Stanley Cup finals.
