It was one of the sectors that was hit the hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic, but it is showing signs of rapid recovery due to the new trend of “revenge travel”.  It’s the term given to the surge in travel after two years of restrictions that have now been lifted. People are taking their “revenge” against COVID for all the travelling they missed out on: visits to, rescheduling cancelled holidays, or just finally ticking a new place off their bucket list.
