Dr. Art Nahill is originally from the Boston area and attended Yale University and after three years as a high-school science teacher obtained his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Harvard-affiliated Mount Auburn Hospital and spent the next twelve years practicing and teaching in general medicine in the Boston area before moving to New Zealand with his Kiwi wife and two children in 2005.Since changing hemispheres, Art is now working in the General Medicine Department of Middlemore Hospital, is a clinical educator, and writer with an opinion on most things, especially learning and teaching about how we think and all the ways we might innovate and improve our struggling health system. He is also a widely-published, award-winning poet.  He is back for another episode to discuss his next endeavour with Dr. Nic Szecket and Dr. Anne O'Callaghan - Clinical Mentoring: a group providing support, advice and improvement strategies to medical students, trainee doctors and clinicians.
