Doctor Warrick Bishop interviews Lourene Bevaart, a former world champion karate athlete and one of the original Australian Gladiators. Lourene shares how she achieved her childhood dreams of becoming a phys ed teacher, world champion, and mother. She describes her experience competing on the first season of Gladiators and being selected to join the show. Lourene went on to become a personal trainer, working with famous clients like Russell Crowe and Shane Warne. Her passion now is helping others improve their heart health and live active, healthy lives for longer.
