Do What is Right, Not What is Good

When Jesus came to set us free from our slavery to sin, we stopped struggling between doing good versus evil. But it shifted to a struggle between doing what is good versus what is right. The decision we often wrestle with as a follower of Jesus is whether we will do what is good for us or right for the Lord. Whatever we choose between the two, we will still bear the consequences of that decision. When we do what is good for us, there is no assurance that things will be right in the future.
