GOD IS THE STORM (Audio Message)

29 Oct 2020

Description

If you are a Jew, what will come to your mind when you hear the words Assyria and Babylon? If you are a Filipino, what will come to your feel when hear the words Sendong and Yolanda? How about when you hear COVID 19 and SARS, what will come to your mind? These are things that, like storms, brought destruction to the places they passed through and misery to the people they affected. Who created these storms? Why did God allow them? Many believe these are the work of the devil because Ephesians 6:12 says, “our struggle is against the world forces of this darkness”  But how would you feel if I tell you that it was God, not the devil, who raised Assyria and Babylon to punish Israel and execute His judgment? And though we see Nebuchadnezzar as an evil king, how would you feel when in Jeremiah 27:6 God called the king of Babylon, His servant? I learned that God sent Assyria and Babylon, like storms, to devastate Israel for their good. Sandali lang, how can storms bring anything good in people’s lives? I recently learned that while storms can be very destructive, they also bring many good things into our lives. So when God allow storms to come into our lives, He does so to make our lives better, not worst. What do I mean by all these. I hope that the attached message encourage you and  teach you how to use the storms in your life to soar higher.
