When God Rejects Your Good Intention!

How would you feel if you present a plan that would glorify the Lord, but He rejects your intention? Tapos when you look at your friends, nakita mo na yung mga plano nila natupad kasi tinulungan sila ni God? Would you feel bad? The story of when David intended to build a temple for the Lord has often been discussed in many forums, but I cannot help but be amazed at how David responded even though God rejected his offer. I could not understand why he did not feel bad but was instead happy to prepare the things Solomon would need. Among all the kings of Israel, God chose David to be the standard by which all would be measured. What was it about David that made God love him so much?
