With the Divorce rate rising well above 64%, the prospect of having to go through a world of trauma is likely. Also, the prospect of having to deal with a new partner's untrained thankless hoodlums is likely in the cards. Many people attend counseling over the conflict of step-parenting and having to deal with being married repeatedly. Of course, the kids are the real victims. No one can save them from change or being caught in the middle. Though complex, I come from a life of experience and understanding.
