Thanks for listening ❤️ It seems that the previous chapter that talks about the benefits of kissing, "Kiss me, Kiss me a lot" (sung) aroused the curiosity of several followers and now they are asking me to talk about the multiple benefits of hugging and how it improves our physical and mental health. . Human beings are social by nature, that is, we are inclined to be or live in groups, form families, it is said that the family is the basis of society. Currently there is an environment of requesting permission to touch someone, and although a hug is a gesture of acceptance rather than a demonstration of love, many cultures also adopt it as a form of intimate greeting. A hug, unlike a kiss, does not require an exchange of bodily fluids, however, it does require mutual agreement, just as a kiss does. In certain cultures the hug is common between family and friends, this may or may not be followed by a kiss on the cheek. Hugging is a form of non-verbal communication that, since we are babies, carries well-being information to our brain. The first thing we do when a baby cries is to hug him, mainly because he is small and cannot walk, but even when the child always grows looks for the arms of his parents as consolation. Between couples, the hug has a deeper meaning, such as the connection of feelings between the two. Hugs manage to increase levels of oxytocin, also known as the “happiness hormone”, a hormone whose effects on the nervous system are related to feelings of happiness and calm. In addition, hugs manage to raise serotonin levels, a neurotransmitter that is highly involved in our mood. Low levels of serotonin are, for example, associated with states of depression. Hugging mproves overall health. A study by the Ohio State University indicates that the older we are, the more physically fragile we are, but hugs can improve this situation since it makes us feel accompanied and loved, which strengthens the mind and with it our body acquires General well-being. Hugs lower blood pressure due to the hormone oxytocin that is released. Hugs stimulate circulation in the soft tissues. The result is that thanks to this you can calm muscle ailments and release tension. Hugs stimulate us, give us peace of mind and balance our nervous system. For this reason, hugs from an early age reduce the risk of dementia. Who has not needed a hug in difficult times? Who hasn't run to hug someone they've missed for a while? Who has resisted carrying a baby in their arms? The hug is a message of love that does not require words or commitments of any kind, the hug itself shows commitment and loyalty. There are different types of hugs, as we said baby hugs, they are my favorites, there is nothing like hugging a child to transform the grayest day into the most beautiful rainbow. There is also the hug between friends, the one that is given aside, here between the buddies, the parnas, which some people consider informal but which also means that this friendship is sincere and that they have the support of both people, that is to say the feeling is mutual. Speaking of romance, in Italy a team of archaeologists in Mantua discovered the bones or remains of an embracing couple from more than 6,000 years ago, that was an embrace that transcended time and left a mark. There is a filial hug, between direct relatives, like the hug of a father to his son when he graduates from school, the hug of a mother to her daughter when she is getting married, the hug of a brother who helps you get out of a problem, etc. The farewell hugs of a loved one, or partner, of those that you do not want to part with, because you know that it will be a long time before you see them again. There are also hugs, as the name says, to cover or surround the people you love with your arms as a sign of protection or blessing.
