Dynamics Corner

Episode 226: In the Dynamics Corner Chair: Accessibility

11 Jul 2023

Description

Accessibility often refers to the design of products, devices, services, or environments for people who experience disabilities. It's the ability of a product, system, or environment to be used by people of all abilities, including those with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disabilities. Inclusion refers to ensuring that everyone is accepted and valued regardless of their background, identity, or personal circumstances. Inclusion is about ensuring everyone feels they belong, are engaged, and are connected to the organization's goals. It is about removing barriers (physical, cultural, or attitudinal) that prevent people from fully participating or feeling welcomed and valued.Inclusion and accessibility go hand-in-hand, as they aim to ensure that every individual has an equal opportunity to participate fully in all aspects of life.  In this episode, we welcome Taylor Dorward.
