#104 Designing Cars With Dyslexia: From Mechanic To Engineer. Matt Head

10 Mar 2021

Description

This week we are going to talk about designing cars with dyslexia. I sat down with Matthew Head, a dyslexic car designer who started out as a mechanic. He looked for jobs that he thought he could undertake but got rejected for not having an engineering degree. So he went to university and got a Masters's in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. He is now a Senior Vehicle Design Engineer for a luxury car company. Matt’s story resonates with a lot of people.  Many dyslexics, because school got in the way, end up doing jobs relating to maintenance and repair when they really should be building and designing things.
