USA Today reports that Florida’s Billy Napier could be fired by as soon as this weekend….why wouldn’t they do it now?

USA Today reported that Napier, 2-4 on the season, is likely on the outs with the Gators as Florida AD Scott Stricklin apparently met with a handful of influential boosters on Tuesday and was told that continuing financial support depends on “a new direction within the football program” The problem with those statements is…since you haven’t fired him yet…what if the Gators get hot and go on a run?
