Cameron’s story has been one of the greatest tales of resilience so far, from starting his early career as an entrepreneur, Sky Sports esports broadcaster, and team manager, finding his community and enjoying his life in the industry he loves. But then, tragedy struck… Hitting his head at home, and losing significant physical and mental function, forcing him to step away from his successful esports career, and focus on the long and arduous journey of recovery. However, this life changing experience taught him what wealth truly was, leading him to completely change his perspective on life. Learning to love the process, stay in the moment, and transform his life through small steps to improving his mental health, and physical function. Now Cam is using his experience to connect with people all over New Zealand who’re struggling to regain control of their time, attention and thoughts through education, coaching and mentorship support for mental health & suicide awareness. Taking his learnings from the esports industry to bring gamification to the world of decentralisation, to empower others to create better habits. Currently acting as a Business Develop Consultant helping brands build their business through developing strong partnerships to expand their reach to new audiences.
