Is dermatillomania (skin picking) taking over your life? — Lauren McKeaney

26 Jul 2024

Description

Lauren McKeaney is an advocate, writer, speaker and filmmaker. She's the founder and CEO of the Picking Me Foundation, the only nonprofit in the world dedicated to raising awareness and inspiring acceptance about dermatillomania and other body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs). Both people with eczema and those with BFRBs are often thinking about and touching their skin. We talk to Lauren about the similarities and differences between the two conditions and some of the things these two communities can learn from one another. What did you think of this episode?
