Edufuturists #158 - Digital Communities with Andrew Strachan

We are grateful today to be joined by Andrew Strachan. Andrew has spent a decade in secondary education holding roles as a Head of Department, whole school IT lead and Assistant Headteacher, in addition to working as a Technical Project Manager in a service delivery industry prior to entering the teaching profession. Andrew’s current role is Director of Digital Strategy with Emmanuel Schools Foundation.   The Emmanuel Schools Foundation is a geographically dispersed trust of 6 large secondary schools and two primaries in the north of England. Andrew is responsible for all aspects of how IT is used both in and out of the classroom, including Digital pedagogy, IT infrastructure and IT service Delivery. Andrew has previously worked closely with the Google for Education EMEA team and is currently a Microsoft Innovative Education Fellow and Master Trainer.
