Episodio 45: Families in Literature (in English)

Our first episode in English! We feel quite excited about this new adventure and we certainly hope you'll find it interesting. Families in literature. A broad and complex topic. In the English episode we have tried to mix the approach of the 2 parts we emitted previous weeks in Spanish and we decided to include both almost-happy families and unhappy families. To represent that first group, almost-happy families we talk about Gerald Durrell's “My Family and Other Animals”. And about unhappy families we have William Faulkner's “The Sound and the Fury” and Celeste Ng's “Little Fires Everywhere”. Same as in our episodes in Spanish and Basque we can count on the recommendation from the Errenteria Library thanks to Marcos Tantos Arriaga, Errenteria Library Assistant who brings us two more books worth reading.
