Episode 177 Don't Forget The English Of Government

In this episode we have a brief overview of bureaucracy or the English of government. This is the English that you'll find in diplomatic and government offices, it's the English of infrastructure and systems and you'll likely need to read it if you have to do anything related to government offices, support systems or people. If you work in a field that is regularly using Government English then I suggest you get a teacher who specialises in this kind of English. That will make your English studies far more effective and useful for work. Check LinkedIn for a good teacher. If you live in the UK then I would suggest going to Citizens Advice first whenever you have to do anything with the government. As I mentioned they have lots of volunteers to help you and lots of information on the internet.
