Enneagram 2.0 with Beatrice Chestnut and Uranio Paes

S1 Ep56. Instinctual Sequences of Personality Types

31 Mar 2022

Description

In this week's episode, Beatrice Chestnut and Uranio Paes discuss the much anticipated Instinctual Sequences in Personality Types. Instincts are the animal drives that have helped us survive as a species and in the context of the personality, it is broken down into self-preservation, social, and sexual instincts. People have an instinctual sequence (one being dominant, one being second, and one being repressed) and these instinctual sequences are biological energies with dialectical tension with each other. Bea and Uranio describe general behavioral tendencies for the 6 sequences and offer suggestions on how to discover your own instinctual sequence and how it can benefit your growth journey. We also launched our book, The Enneagram Guide to Waking Up, which you can check out here.
