Cheating and dishonesty in education in the age of AI

This article discusses the use of AI in education and the challenges of measuring student learning in a way that reflects their true potential. The author argues that traditional methods of assessment, such as grades, are inadequate in the age of AI, as they encourage students to focus on maximizing their grade rather than learning itself. Instead, he proposes that educational institutions should focus on assessing how students use AI tools effectively, rather than simply prohibiting their use. He believes that AI can be a powerful tool for learning and that embracing its use in education can lead to positive changes in the way we assess student abilities.
